Let’s take it back to 2022, when …

JUN 2022

During a trip to the Lake District, we pitched up for an afternoon and looked for something to do. With just four padel rackets and a ball, it didn’t take long before we were running rings around a tree stump, and so the game was born.

The first dimensions were taken, which hold true today!

DEC 2022

Turns out running around a tree stump with four rackets and a ball is a good watch. We hit over 25k likes and 1 MILLION VIEWS on a video that was posted and then reposted countless times, which sparked an idea that we might be onto something!

JAN TO DEC 2023

We spent around a year lugging various tree stumps around the country, playing with friends and family. We had a great time doing so, but found the convinence factor a little challenging…

JAN 2024

After the local council cleared the latest tree stump off our doorstep, it was decided that enough was enough. A trip down to Somerset saw our first prototype built, and Absent Enterprise Ltd was formed.

MAY TO AUG 2024

The Summer 2024 Tour visited the Isle of Wight, Sicily, Glastonbury, and Split. During the IoW trip, an old university pal suggested the name Bishball, which had a nice ring to it. After some convincing, the name was registered with the Intellectual Property Office under UK00004154511.

We’ve been busy iterating and working on the design to provide the best version of the game for you. We’ve come a long way, but it feels like we are only just limbering up before the start line, and we can’t wait to get going!

    My background in civil engineering and representing Great Britain in the triathlon at the highest level has given me the skills and drive to launch a new competitive game into the sporting landscape.

    My passion has been creating and developing new games since as long as I can remember. I often get grief from my friends for changing or adding rules to help me win!

    Product design is something I really enjoy and coming from a racket sport background, Bishball has allowed me to combine the two!
